MANILA, (PNA) — The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Tuesday announced the death toll for the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Central Visayas last Oct. 15 has now climbed up to 194.
This is broken down into 181 earthquake-related deaths for Bohol, 12 for Cebu and 1 for Siquijor.
Injured number: 651 people with Bohol recording the highest number of wounded and hurt at 558, 89 for Cebu, 3 for Siquijor and 1 for Negros Oriental.
Number of totally damaged houses for both Bohol and Cebu was placed at 10,163.
This is broken down into 10,148 for Bohol and 15 for Cebu.(
