MANILA, (PNA) — A nine-hour power interruption is scheduled in parts of Bohol on Saturday and a 10-hour power outage is set on Sunday in line with the maintenance works for the transmission line and a substation.
In an advisory, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said the outage on Saturday will start at 8 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. to make way for the maintenance activity along the 69kV Ubay-Trinidad-Carmen-Catigbian transmission line.
The outage will affect some areas being serviced by the Bohol 1 Electric Cooperative Inc. (BOHECO 1) and the Bohol II Electric Cooperative Inc. (BOHECO II).
On Sunday, the outage that will affect portions of the BOHECO II area will start from 7a.m. until 5 p.m.
The power interruption will transpire as NGCP conducts maintenance activity at the Ubay substation.
NGCP assures the affected consumers that “normal operations will immediately resume after work completion.”
“NGCP customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled power interruption,” it added.
