LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, (PNA) — A housewife listed as top drug personality in Sual town was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Poblacion Sual Wednesday afternoon.

Seized from the suspect, Minda Tandoc, 44, of Barangay Baybay Sur, Sual were nine heat-sealed plastic transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, five pieces of P100 bill and five pieces of P100 bill used by lawmen as marked money.

The suspect and confiscated items were brought to Sual police station for proper disposition while suspected sachets of shabu brought to PNP Crime Laboratory in Lingayen.

Possible violation of Sec 5 and 11 of Art II of Republic Act 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act) is now being prepared against the suspect.

Meanwhile, two students of the Robert Estrella National High School in Rosales were also arrested Wednesday by the police for having in their possession one marijuana brick, more or less two by four inches, while inside the school campus.

Arrested were Jefferson Cabodoy, 16, of Barangay Bartolome; and Richard Lopez, 21, of Barangay Salcedo, San Manuel, Tarlac.

The students were tipped off by concerned residents who saw the two having in their possession the marijuana brick with an estimated value of P500.
