ZAMBOANGA CITY, (PNA) -– City health officer Dr. Rodelin Agbulos announced that his office is now back to normal operation as the standoff is over.
The City Health Office was closed at the height of the standoff since it is located near the boundary with Barangay Sta. Barbara although geographically located in Barangay Zone IV
Barangay Sta. Barbara is one of the site of the fierce fighting between government forces and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) rebels during the standoff that started last September 9.
At the height of the standoff, Agbulos has opened two satellite offices to ensure continues delivery of services to the public.
The two satellite offices were established at the Puericulture Lying-in Maternity Hospital in downtown area and at the Joaquin Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex.
Agbulos called on the public to proceed to his office at Pettit Barracks in Barangay Zone IV should they have any transactions to do with his office.
“I think there are still people who go to other places to look for the City Health Office, our office is now back to normal operation,” Agbulod said.
